The Dissonance Project is a series of two 16-week, 8-module online literature and rhetoric programs for high school students who are ready to read deeply, think critically, and write with purpose.
Designed especially for homeschoolers and online learners, this moderated semester guides students through eight themed units built around classic and modern classic texts. Students will explore censorship, propaganda, literacy, conformity, identity, justice, voice, and belonging while practicing the kinds of close reading, rhetorical analysis, evidence-based writing, and argument skills that prepare students for collegiate English work.
This is not a passive download or a generic reading list. Students receive structured weekly assignments, guided reading support, moderated discussion opportunities, graded work, and teacher feedback throughout the 8-week course.
